Screen Printing and Apparel

Our minimum order for custom garments is 24 pieces per design. We can produce smaller orders but there are restrictions as to how many colors and placements can be used on your shirt and the type of imprint available and are done on a case-by-case basis, so please contact us with any questions.

What are the artwork requirements?2023-05-17T14:37:33+00:00

1stPride Marketing employees a full service design department and can help you with your design.  If you would like to provide your own artwork, please review the following:


Please make all artwork to size. (The size you would like the finished print to be.)


Make art to size. Save in .AI or .EPS format, CMYK color mode. We have the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite.

Create Outlines on all fonts.

Convert all strokes to Outlines.

Files with each color on it’s own Layer is strongly preferred. Include any/all imported or placed images and graphic files. Avoid using Clipping Masks, use the “Pathfinder” tool instead.


Make art to size. Save in .PSD or .TIF format, CMYK color mode (or Greyscale if the design is 1-color). Files with each color on it’s own Layer is strongly preferred. File resolution should be at least 150dpi, and not to exceed 600dpi.


For positive reading type; keep fonts at a 8pt minimum (12pt for Metallic ink). For knocked-out text; keep fonts at a 12pt minimum (16pt for Metallic ink). Final results will vary depending on chosen typeface.

For positive reading lines; keep strokes at a 1pt minimum (2pt for Metallic ink). For knocked-out lines; keep strokes at a 2pt minimum (3pt for Metallic ink).


Please let us determine halftone size and angle.  1stPride Marketing is not responsible for errors or unsatisfactory results caused by halftones created by the client. Please allow us to assist you if you’re not familiar with the screen-printing process.

Please proof-read any and all copy. Industry is not responsible for mistakes in spelling, grammar, or punctuation. Avoid using images from the internet when possible.

We go the extra mile in making sure that we don’t start printing until we are all on the same page. Once we receive your art and product description, we start making a digital mock-up (or proof) of your design. Once you have approved the design or made any notes for us to change, we are ready to start printing. You will receive your proof within 48-72 hours after the request.

What is the Quote and Order Process?2023-05-17T14:37:33+00:00

Our goal is to make the ordering process as easy as possible. Just fill-out our Quote Request form below.  Please be as detailed as possible with your quantities, and number of colors used in your designs as these will affect pricing. A representative will review your information and get back to you usually within a couple of hours to review your quote with you. (If you have a rush order, or your quote has special details not listed on our form, feel free to live chat or call us.) After pricing is approved, the next step is having our Graphic Department create your design or make your proofs on your existing art. Once you approve the proofs, we will collect full payment on your order, and move it into the queue for printing.

We accept checks, credit cards and purchase orders.  We require payment in full (of your finalized quote) when you place your order.

What is the Turn-Around-Time?2023-05-17T14:37:33+00:00


You can expect your first round of designs back in 1-2 business days under most graphic design services or if you are on our Unlimited Startup Plan. If you opt for the Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Prime Plan, you can expect your first round of designs back the same day. Your designer works on your queue each business day. However, turnaround time is dependent on two factors: the complexity of your requests and the number of active requests in your queue.  Your designer will reach out on each request and provide you with an estimated timeframe.
